このホームページは、VATSIMの日本支部「VATJPN」の公式サイトです。
VATSIMとは、マイクロソフト フライトシミュレーターなどのシムパイロットとヴァーチャル管制官が、音声によるオンライン管制を楽しむ世界組織「仮想航空管制ネットワーク（Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network）」のことです。
初心者シムパイロットから本職パイロットの方まで、マナーを守れる方のみ参加いただけます。
- VATSIMはFS2002・FS2004・FSX・X-Planeに対応しています。
- 世界中で20万人以上の方が参加されています（2010年9月現在）。
- VATSIMはボランティアで運営されており、提供するソフトやサーバーの利用は全て無料です。

Welcome to the web site of VATSIM Japan (VATJPN), a division of VATSIM, a worldwide online network simulating air traffic.
On VATSIM, virtual pilots and virtual air traffic controllers interact with each other over voice (or text). Everyone from the beginners to the experts is welcome to join us.
- FS2002, FS2004, FSX and X-Plane are supported.
- VATSIM has over 200,000 members (as of September 2010).
- VATSIM is a volunteer-based organization. It is free to use the network and to use the software needed to connect to the network.
