毎年恒例の[b][color=0000FF]WORLD FLIGHT[/color][/b]」が、今年は11/7に実施されます。

精巧に作られたシミュレータ(コックピット)でVATSIMパイロットが分担しながら世界中をフライトするこのイベントで集まった募金は、ドクターヘリの購入費用等のために寄付されます。
管制官として参加することであなたもこのチャリティー活動をサポートできます。

[b][color=0000FF]VATASIA[/color][/b]としてもこの取り組みに全面協力することとし、管制官がいない空域は[b][color=0000FF]WORLD FLIGHT[/color][/b]の運営サイドで割り当ててもらうことと致しました。
VATJPNの担当空域では最も多い3レグが予定されていますので、VATJPN管制官の皆さんには積極的なご協力を頂きたく、よろしくお願いします:-x

The annual WORLD FLIGHT for charity is on again in November 2009. The group will depart Sydney (YSSY) on Monday November 2nd, travelling in a westerly direction and passing through five VATSIM Regions. Most of the time will be spent in the Northern Hemisphere.

WF2009 has concluded and is considered to be our best ever event. I will get some statistics out soon but I would ask that you convey our thanks to your Staff in each region for being so accommodating with the Temporary Visiting Controller arrangements, they really worked well and helped make WF2009 an outstanding success. It was also pleasing to see the many local controllers turn out to handle the traffic at times that were outside their normal operating times and we really enjoyed their professional and courteous manner in dealing with so many a/c.
